We made it to the top of the building. My legs were so tired—but in a good way. We went outside a window to look out and enjoy the view.
I took my brother-in-law’s tripod since my was at home. I hate using other people’s equipment because I didn’t know how to turn the tripod to make a vertical shot. So I had to do the best I can with what I had.
I’m so glad that there was no one there to share the building with. From what I understand many people come here. I was told that people bring their kids there! Not a smart move on their part. The buildings are so dilapidated that someone can get hurt. We went in the morning and got some nice light.
It was fortunate that I was able to go to Kings Park. I believe this was building 93. Lobotomies and shock therapies took place here. It is now a park and many of the buildings are no longer there. I was glad I was able to visit the building and take some pictures. I almost didn’t go because I was dealing with my mom’s finances. I was itching to go out and I did. A friend of mine wanted to go so badly and I couldn’t disappoint him. 🙂
