vacation
Lumpkin and Columbus
The family and I took a road trip in the middle of nowhere to go hiking. Thank God my husband is patient with me to stop in the middle of the road so I can take a picture! I did this often on this trip while my family baked inside the car.
The Lego Store in NYC
If you have kids or if you like Legos go visit the Lego store in NYC near Rockefeller Center. The city is one of they things I miss about NY cause it’s never a dull moment. The one in Atlanta is ok, but it’s nothing like the one in NY. Not once did my son complain how tired he was, but I’m sure he was tired. I know I was. All the pictures on the wall were made of miniature legos.
Beach Abstract
I love this photo, but the only thing is that I shot it as a jpeg; I could have gotten more bang for my buck if it was a raw – a better print, better detail, blah, blah blah…
Chattanooga
I visited Chattanooga this weekend for my son’s birthday. A break was long overdue for this family! The main sight was the TN Aquarium. There was a lot of walking on that day. It was a clean and friendly city, although there were random homeless people. I guess every city has them. My family was nice enough to let me take some pictures. ❤ There are a lot of photo opportunities here. It’s been over 10 years since Tim and I have been here and I wanted to share this with the birthday boy. I’m glad I did because this city has grown since my first trip. There was nothing in this area when I first came here. I was ready to leave after my first visit. I was also eye balling the abandoned areas of the city for photo opps, but I didn’t want to detain the family.

Providence Canyon
🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂
8930 Canyon Rd, Lumpkin, GA 31815
Since I never been to the Grand Canyon, the Providence Canyon is the most beautiful and only canyon I’ve seen! And boy was it a hot day! If you’re ever in Georgia, you have to come and see these canyons and where hiking boots or shoes that you don’t mind getting muddy cause there is a lot of mud in the canyon grounds. It’s just a great place to enjoy nature. Canyons are formed by rivers or streams, but these ones are formed by rainwater run off from farm fields. These canyons are also considered one of Georgia’s natural seven wonders. There’s not much else to see in this area for it is a rural area, but it was worth the trip.
