Do all southern towns (especially GA) have Coca Cola painted on them? I know of two in GA, but I’m sure there are more. This on is in Chattanooga.
I’m through I think editing these photos. Looking at these photos helped me make some decisions on how to make my photos better. Now I need to buy a new tripod cause my old one is almost busted up! The top two are the fireplace and the bottom one is my favorite out of the whole trip the lighting wasn’t overbearing.
I went with a friend to Hidden Acres which is just around the corner from my house! I didn’t know this place existed!
So I have been experimenting with the free Nik Collection. When I see the demos I think how beautiful the pictures were. When I worked with it, it was another story that needed to be retold. The HDR isn’t as exciting as the one that I use on my phone (I will post those at a later time). I also have been trying to use techniques of Chris Tennant that he wrote about in Popular Photography a couple of years ago. Not happening…some of his techniques I used in these pictures, but the whole package wasn’t working for me. I’m sure he left out some secrets. 😉
These are a couple of images that were from the preserve that I’ve been playing with. What I do like about his technique is the clear reflection in the water.
I visited Chattanooga this weekend for my son’s birthday. A break was long overdue for this family! The main sight was the TN Aquarium. There was a lot of walking on that day. It was a clean and friendly city, although there were random homeless people. I guess every city has them. My family was nice enough to let me take some pictures. ❤ There are a lot of photo opportunities here. It’s been over 10 years since Tim and I have been here and I wanted to share this with the birthday boy. I’m glad I did because this city has grown since my first trip. There was nothing in this area when I first came here. I was ready to leave after my first visit. I was also eye balling the abandoned areas of the city for photo opps, but I didn’t want to detain the family.
